WISDOM OF THE CELTIC TRADITION

Key Principles, Mentors & References for BECOMING ANAMCARA

• TRUSTING INNER AUTHORITY

While not disregarding the guidance of tradition, the Anamcara Tradition insists on the supremacy of trusting our own inner voice for wisdom and guidance. Celtic tradition would echo Plato’s interpretation of the Greek maxim, “Know Thyself” to mean “Know Thy Soul.”  Irish Philosopher, John Moriarty invites Anamcara Apprentices to bridge the false gap between science, nature and religion: “God doesn’t need to come down a mountain, for the mountain itself is the revelation.  We only have to look at it and we will know how we should live.”
